Wilsons School Make visors for NHS
Posted 8th May 2020
Dear Mr Cole,
I would like to update you on the protective visors your school donated. When I was picking up my son your staff kindly gave me a batch of the protective plastic visors that the school had produced for the NHS. I took them today to the medical team working on the main COVID respiratory ward. They were very appreciative and asked me to pass on their thanks to your staff for this very helpful and kind gesture. As you know from our previous emails, we are really touched by the generosity of the school and all the incredible support we were offered during this challenging time. As we are both NHS key workers, we were working throughout the Easter holidays. It was a great relief to know our children are happy and well looked after while we are at work. They had such fun-packed days, coming home excitedly chatting about what they had been up to. We are ever so grateful to all the staff at Wilson's (including the dinner ladies!) for all their help, that meant we could continue working on the frontline without having to worry about our children.
