Old Wilsonians Football
The Old Wilsonians Football is England football accredited club based in Hayes, Kent. The club is affiliated to the Amateur Football Alliance and its 7 Saturday XI’s play in the Southern Amateur League. As well as this our teams play in the AFA Cup, Old Boys Cup and the London Old Boys Cup.
If you are looking for football that is close to semi pro standard but without as much midweek commitment then the 1XI will provide you with this. They play AFA football and and looking to become one of the strongest teams in London. If you are a keen player but not necessarily up to this standard then one of the lower teams will provide you with good natured, competitive and well organised football every Saturday. All members are entitled to attend training which is held on a monday night by a UEFA B Qualified coach local to Hayes.
The 1st XI play at excellent facilities across the Greater London area whereas the 2XI – 7XI play in more local leagues based south of the River Thames. The Vets and Supervets also have regular Sunday fixtures & the Vets have joined the Vets League this season. and there is an annual tour to places which have included Prague, Tallinn, Kiev and Riga.
The club hold regular social events including Golf days, 5 a sides and curry nights. The annual fixture against the school, which the club has strong links with, is always a highlight .
We have had 4 players in our history who have played over 1000 games for the club . Bruce Graham broke the appearance record last year in the last game of the season & scoring his 100th goal for the club .
