Old Wilsonians’ Football Club is committed to prioritising the well-being of all young and vulnerable adults, promoting safeguarding in our club at all times, including all programmes and events we run. We have a number of policies and other statements showing how we run the club, and what we expect of members. In particular, our safeguarding policy strives to minimise risk, deliver a positive football experience for everyone and respond appropriately to all safeguarding concerns/disclosures.

WELFARE OFFICER

Our Welfare Officer is James Sparrow . James looks after all issues concerning safeguarding in respect of young and vulnerable adults. He ensures our management team keeps up-to-date with their DBS checks and other essential training requirements to ensure we provide a safe and inclusive environment. James is the person to contact if you have any concerns about anything you see or hear at the club, or indeed any concern about the safety of any person.
