Catford and Cyphers 148, Old Wilsonians 151 for 7

A fifth wicket stand of 82 between Andra Henry (68) and Theo Lightly (15) should have laid the foundations for a formidable score for Catford and Cyphers but when they were both dismissed, and within four runs of each other, it heralded a dramatic collapse which saw their side dismissed for 148 in just 30.2 overs
Harry Williams, who took the first four wickets, finished with 4 for 59 and was given splendid support by Shehan Sivarajan, 3 for 16, and debutant Sam Forbes, 3 for 26
The Old Wilsonians' reply was business like rather than fluent, with Velson Dverajulu (25), Syd Sherlock (25). Mahith Perera (25) and Louis Pryor (27 n.o) being the principle contributors
This was an important win for the OWs whilst Catford and Cyphers will be reflecting on what might have been

Old Wilsonians 2nd Xl 240 for 7, Linden Park 134

Some steady batting from Steve Blunt (42), Danny Phillips (41), Ollie Willis (39) and Harley Tucker (38n.o) enabled Old Wilsonians to compile a commendable 240 for 7 in this game against Linden Park
The visitors used seven bowlers as they toiled in the heat and did their best to divide the wickets equally, although Etieene Saunders was a bit greedy and finished with two!
In reply Linden Park lost two early wickets and but for a stoic knock from Fred Perkins (46) they would have left Old Wilsonians waiting longer than 35.2 overs to achieve their victory
James Sellar, 3 for 30, was the most successful OW bowler with Doug Forbes and Steve Blunt picking up two wickets each

Old Wilsonians Sunday Development 235 for 9. Dartford Sunday Development 210 for 9

Old Wilsonians recovered well from a poor start - 31 for 3 - in this Sunday Development game as some hard hitting from Andrew Pomering (72), Shehan Sivaranjan (52) and George Castle (48) enabled them to finish on 235 for 9 from their 35 overs, Ayaan Bashiruddin, 4 for 40 and Janakiraman Sudhersen, 3 for 40, being the pick of the visiting bowlers
Dartford lost a couple of early wickets but then a stand of 85 between Ben Chapelhow (55) and Joe Chapelhow (47) put them back on track with Sud Surya (27) continuing the good work
However, the OW bowlers then began to get on top, with Shehan Sivaranjan, 4 for 30 and Sam Forbes, 3 for 54 denying them any chance of victory
