Old Wilsonians' Success at Kent LTA awards

Old Wilsonians’ LTC had a successful night at the annual Kent LTA Awards yesterday.  Having been shortlisted in 2 categories, the club won the Competition of the Year.  Congratulations and thanks to everyone involved, especially Laura Perrins and The Jack Petchey Foundation who provided the cash as part of its 21st birthday celebrations, which allowed us to put events on for all our youngsters from 11 to 25years old.

The club was also shortlisted for Club of the Year, a great accolade, but the award went to neighbours Sundridge Park LTC who have had an amazing year.

Over recent years Jake Johnson has been the winner of Coach of the Year, Judith Heayberd and Nigel Jordan have been winners of the Volunteer of the Year award, and the high point was the club becoming the Kent Tennis Club of the Year at the awards ceremony in March 2017.  Here’s looking forward to further success.
